Hello, I'm Mary - Founder of Mary Hart Design Studio. I am an illustrator and designer based in Manchester, UK. What started as a small creative outlet has now grown into a brand with global reach —here is my business journey!
UNIVERSITY

I studied Textile Design at Leeds Arts University, graduating with First Class Honours. It was here that I discovered my passion and specialism in children’s and nursery design, and began taking the first steps towards building my brand.
LOVE KIDDO
​
Love Kiddo was my first business - a personalised gifting brand for babies, nurseries and children. I created every product by hand, including keepsakes, wall art prints, décor, invitations, greetings cards and seasonal items.

Alongside this, I built a blog, an engaged community of Instagram mums (who became my brand ambassadors), and was featured in several publications. I absolutely loved building this brand.

I had the pleasure of working and collaborating with a range of wonderful businesses through Love Kiddo, designing illustrations for products, custom colouring books and activity packs, greetings cards to accompany product ranges, and bespoke colouring sheets.

MARY HART DESIGN STUDIO

What began as a personal project to create a range of colouring books has evolved into Mary Hart Design Studio, a multi-faceted creative hub. My colouring book collection has now sold over 53,000 copies worldwide, a milestone that inspired me to expand my creative horizons even further.
​
Today, the studio encompasses Honey Bloom, a sub-brand dedicated to premium clip art and digital assets, as well as a growing schedule of creative wellness events with The Colouring Club - designed to bring our community together offline.

I am currently expanding into wholesale partnerships for my book collection and am available for freelance projects, with a view to branching into textile design in the near future. Whether you are looking for digital assets, a retail partner, or bespoke design work, I’d love to connect.
